Irises
Irises is a double ring inspired by a painting by Vincent van Gogh. The painting shows blue flowers with long, sword shaped leaves. In the ring, the flowers are represented by blue sapphire and by London and sky topaz, while sculptured gold forms the leaves in movement. The ring is made of 18 karat gold by hand, with a matte finish and prong settings. The piece is light and comfortable to wear. The intent is to bring the colors and forms of nature and painting into a wearable object.
Irises Ring by Larissa Moraes has been identified as a grand representation of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Irises Ring earned the Iron A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2024. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that rewards superior design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
