Geometry of Fiction
Geometry of Fiction is a silver jewelry collection of three rings. The forms were inspired by the architecture of the historic Golshan Bathhouse in Yazd, Iran. An experimental method was used: primary shapes such as cubes and cylinders were combined in three-dimensional software with the reversed geometry of the bathhouse, producing more than 250 new forms. A few forms were then selected for the rings. The pieces were modeled digitally, printed in resin and cast in silver. The three rings can be worn as a set, in pairs or alone.
Geometry of Fiction Jewelry Collection by Nazanin Saranjampour has been recognized as an outstanding example of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
